CAROLINE BASILE JOINS TWINLOGIC STRATEGIES, CONTINUES FIRM’S GROWTH
January 23, Washington, D.C. – TwinLogic Strategies, is pleased to announce that Caroline Basile has joined the firm. Caroline’s addition comes just in time for what promises to be a busy 113th Congress.
Caroline joins TwinLogic from the Romney for President Campaign where she coordinated surrogate travel. Previously, she served on the Majority staff of the House Energy & Commerce Committee. She is a graduate of American University and a native of Lynnfield, Massachusetts.

She also served in the Intergovernmental Affairs and Public Liaison Office of the U.S. Trade Representative during the Bush Administration. Alyssa Gowens served as Legislative Counsel to Representative Mel Watt (D-NC), Ranking Member on the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Courts, Intellectual Property and the Internet.

TWINLOGIC STRATEGIES EXPANDS TEAM WITH ADDITION OF ALYSSA GOWENS
November 28, 2011, Washington, D.C. – TwinLogic Strategies, is pleased to announce that Alyssa Gowens will join the firm effective December 5, 2011. Alyssa’s addition continues TwinLogic’s expansion, as earlier this year Tiffany Moore joined founders Elizabeth Frazee and Sharon Ringley.
Alyssa joins TwinLogic from the office of Representative Mel Watt (D-NC), where she spent almost five years as Judiciary Legislative Counsel. During her tenure with Congressman Watt, Alyssa managed a broad portfolio of Judiciary Committee issues with a special emphasis on copyright, trademark, patent, antitrust and immigration issues.
“We are thrilled that Alyssa is joining our team,” said TwinLogic Co-Founder Sharon Ringley. “Alyssa’s experience and legislative know-how adds depth and breadth that will benefit our clients immediately.”

A native of Tucson, Arizona, Alyssa is a graduate of Spelman College and Howard University School of Law. During her years in college and law school, she worked in the office of Atlanta Mayors Bill Campbell and Shirley Franklin, the American Civil Liberties Union Voting Rights Project and as a judicial law clerk. Alyssa currently serves on the Boards of Directors of A Way Forward, a Fairfax, Virginia organization that assists victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, and Horton’s Kids, a Washington, D.C. organization that supports low-income youth through tutoring and community-based programs. She also tutors children through Horton’s Kids and counsels women and families at the Alexandria Domestic Violence Shelter.
TwinLogic Strategies was founded by Elizabeth Frazee and Sharon Ringley in 2009, and has quickly developed into a leading advisor and representative of America’s top companies and associations. The firm’s team members have served in senior positions on the Hill and in corporate government relations offices. Frazee served Chairman Robert Goodlatte (R-VA) as Legislative Counsel and the House Energy and Commerce Committee as Republican Press Secretary. Following her Hill years, she was an executive in the policy shops at Disney and AOL. Ringley served former Representative Rick Boucher (D-VA) as Deputy Chief of Staff and left the Hill to work in Amazon’s government relations office. Earlier in 2011, TwinLogic added Tiffany Moore, who worked for House Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton, in the Office of the United States Trade Representative, and in the government relations office of Kellogg, Inc.
