Troy Stock
Troy Stock is an experienced technology and privacy expert. He worked on Capitol Hill for over a dozen years for House and Senate Republicans, where he focused on technology and privacy issues. He started his career as counsel for former Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), served as staff director of the Subcommittee on Information Technology on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, and concluded his time on Capitol Hill working in Senate leadership, as policy counsel for the Senate Republican Policy Committee (RPC). At the IT Subcommittee, Troy helped advance bipartisan legislation to modernize government technology and led investigations into government surveillance and data breaches. At RPC, he wrote vote summaries, drafted policy papers, and organized briefings to inform Republican Senators and staff on key technology, telecommunications, and cybersecurity issues.
Prior to joining TwinLogic, he worked at Monument Advocacy, a bipartisan government relations and public affairs firm. He advises clients on matters related to AI, data privacy, content moderation, cross-border data flows, and more. Troy is a founding member of the Congressional Tech Staff Association. He earned a B.A. in Political Science from Brigham Young University and a J.D. from Duke University School of Law.
